Description of Services

Rancho Cordova Masonry & Concrete provides masonry and concrete contracting services, including but not limited to foundation repair, chimney repair, tuckpointing, brick and stone work, retaining walls, driveways, walkways, and related services in Rancho Cordova, CA and surrounding communities.

All services are subject to availability, site conditions, and mutual agreement on scope and pricing before work begins. We reserve the right to decline any project at our discretion.

Estimates and Pricing

Any estimate we provide - whether over the phone, by email, or in writing following a site visit - is based on the information available at the time of the estimate and the site conditions observed. Estimates are not final contracts.

A written proposal or contract will be provided before work begins. The final price may differ from an initial estimate if site conditions change, if the scope of work changes, or if unforeseen issues are discovered once work is underway. We will notify you of any material changes before proceeding.

Prices are quoted in U.S. dollars. We do not guarantee any specific price until a written agreement is signed by both parties.

Scheduling and Cancellation

Once a project is scheduled, we ask that you provide at least 48 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours notice may result in a fee to cover our crew's time and any materials already ordered for your job.

We will make every reasonable effort to complete work on the schedule agreed upon. Delays caused by weather, permit processing, material availability, or other factors outside our control do not constitute a breach of our agreement.

You are responsible for ensuring that we have clear, safe access to the work area on the scheduled date. Failure to provide access may result in rescheduling and, in some cases, a fee.

Payment Terms

Payment terms will be specified in the written agreement for each project. In general, a deposit may be required before work begins, with the remaining balance due upon completion unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Payment is accepted in the forms specified in your project agreement. Invoices not paid within the agreed timeframe may be subject to late fees. We reserve the right to suspend or discontinue work on any project where payment is overdue.

If a dispute arises regarding an invoice, please contact us in writing within 10 days of receiving the invoice. We will work in good faith to resolve billing disagreements promptly.

Warranty Disclaimers

We stand behind our workmanship. Any warranty specific to your project will be stated in your written agreement. Where no warranty is specified, we warrant that work will be performed in a professional manner consistent with industry standards.

Warranties do not cover damage caused by events outside our control, including but not limited to acts of nature, soil movement, flooding, seismic activity, improper use, or modifications to our work made by others after project completion.

The Site and all information on it are provided "as is" without any warranty of accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. We make no guarantees about outcomes or results from any service described on the Site.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rancho Cordova Masonry & Concrete will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site or from services we provide, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability for any claim arising from a service project will not exceed the amount you paid us for that specific project. Some states do not allow limitations on liability for certain types of damages, so this limitation may not apply to you in full.

Dispute Resolution

If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of a mutually agreed arbitration body, unless you are bringing a claim that qualifies for small claims court. You and Rancho Cordova Masonry & Concrete each waive the right to a jury trial and to participate in a class action.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any disputes not subject to arbitration will be resolved in the courts of California.
